Actor Baek DoBin revealed a story about how he and his wife, Jung ShiA got into a fight because of SNSD.
On KBS 2TV’s variety programme ‘Happy Together 3′ aired on August 18th, actor Baek DoBin made a surprise confession of how he had an argument with Jung ShiA while watching TV.
Baek DoBin said, “As I watching TV when SNSD made an appearance, my wife came and looked closely at them on the screen”.
He added, “My wife then asked in an angry tone, ‘Are they good? Do you like them? Are they pretty? You like them because they’re young?’. Even after I replied by saying, ‘I was just watching’, she was angry for quite a while”.

SNSD will be rocking the Taipei Arena in Taiwan once again this September! A total of 20,000 tickets for the two concerts, scheduled on September 10th and 11th, were sold out in under two and a half hours when they became available for sale last Saturday and many believed that it would have been a lot quicker if it wasn’t for the glitches in the ticketing system.
Those who did not manage to get a ticket registered themselves on the waiting list immediately and within one day, the waiting list had exceeded 6,000 people. Thus, fans shook their heads at their bad luck and commented, “Some things cannot be bought with money.”
To catch a glimpse of the girls in their second concert in Taiwan, after the first Asia Tour last year, many fans waited for hours before the tickets went on sale outside the thousands of convenience stores around Taiwan, where the ticketing kiosks were located.
A lucky male fan, who managed to secure his concert ticket, said happily, “So what if I don’t have a girlfriend? It is enough to get a Zone C standing ticket in SNSD’s concert!”

On August 17th, Samsung Securities stated that the rise of SM stock prices in the 2nd quarter this year was due to SNSD’s success in the Japanese market, which has gone beyond expectation. In the 2nd half of the year, the girls are also the main contributing factor in keeping the profit-earning momentum going and SM’s stock price is expected to rise up to 33,000 won per unit.

SNSD was praised for staying calm and professional when a sound system failure occurred during Japan’s biggest rock festival ‘SUMMER SONIC 2011’. Actor Chun JungMyung’s interest towards girl group was revealed.
On August 16th, Chun JungMyung became a temporary DJ for SBS Power FM ‘Old School’ as Kim ChangRyul is currently away on holiday.
During the broadcast, Chun JungMyung was asked, “You have been acting alongside many female actresses but do you sometimes feel envy of Mighty Mouth who are close to girl groups?”. To this, he answered, “Yes”.
