CNN’s ‘CNNGo’, which introduces Asian entertainment, lifestyle and culture, met up and interview SNSD, who were the first Korean artistes ever to have performed at the closing stage for Japan’s biggest music festival ‘Summer Sonic’. CNNGo, who conducted the interview in English, praised the girls, “SNSD’s journey is just about to start. Being trained at a very young age, SNSD are always well-prepared and they possess unique special energy within themselves”.
In addition to that, famous music magazine Billboard Magazine Tokyo Bureau stated, “Not only SNSD, it’s not an easy task even for American artistes to achieve good results in the US market”. On how Asian artistes could break into the American market rapidly, Rob Schwartz said, “They need to grab people’s attention with a cross-country campaign and I think what might work is a tie-in as a brand spokesman for a big brand, across the country, so their faces are in front of tens of millions of Americans.” Check out the full article by CNNGo here.
