Three musical stars of Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Jessica, are to appear on “Radio Star”.
The three girls will appear on an upcoming episode of “Radio Star”, a corner of MBC’s “Golden Fishery”, on November 9th. They will have a talk battle against the four MCs, Kim Gookjin, Kim Goora, Yoon Jongshin, and Kyuhyun.
This will be the first time for any Girls’ Generation member to appear on an official talk show since they began their third album promotions.
This episode of “Radio Star”, which is themed as a Musical Star Special, was already recorded on November 2nd. Besides Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Jessica, Park Haemi and Im Taekyung were there as well.
There has been talk that the guests on the show make surprising remarks, making the entire studio burst in laughter throughout.
One representative of “Radio Star” said, “The atmosphere of the recording was very good because everybody burst in laughter unexpectedly,” and also hinted, “Of course Girls’ Generation was funny, but Park Haemi, who is usually known for her witty remarks, was no different. Im Taekyung was unexectedly a tough rival as well.”

A poll was conducted on music site ‘Monkey 3′ from October 27th to November 2nd to find the singer students wanted to see most after their College Scholastic Ability Test.
Girls’ Generation, who had just recently made their comeback with ‘The Boys’, took a whooping majority of over 57% (290 votes) from the poll of 510 votes, to take the top spot.
Infinite was ranked second with 14% out of the total votes while Big Bang came in third with 13%.
The examination candidates, who took part in the poll, said, “I want to relief the stress accumulated from the examinations by watching Girls’ Generation’s performances.”

On the night of the 3rd of November, the members of Girls’ Generation made an appearance at the Mnet 2011 Style Icon Award. Turning up in varying designs of black and gold, the girls heated up the red carpet with their arrival. As usual, they lived up to their titles of fashionistas and turned heads as they walked down the red carpet.
Tiffany’s sparkly gold blouse in particular, caught the eye of many as she made her way down the red carpet with the rest of Girls’ Generation. Also, Sunny’s newly cut hair makes an appearance and wows like usual as she manages to pull the boyish yet feminine look off flawlessly. Check out the rest of the photos here!

Girls’ Generation’s third studio album, “The Boys”, has been flying off the shelves. In the first two weeks since its release, the album has soared past the 75,000 units sold mark on the Hanteo chart.
As of the time of this article, “The Boys” has over 84,000 albums sold on the chart. Along with the Gaon chart, Hanteo is one of the main music charts in Korea that tracks album sales.
The title track from the album continues to be a huge hit on Youtube as well. The Korean version of “The Boys” just recently passed 15 million views, proving itself to be one of the most popular music videos.

A survey was conducted recently among 7,936 members of Visit Korea, the official Korea Tourism guide website, from 81 countries to find out the best Hallyu stars to represent each season in Korea.
From the survey, Girls’ Generation received the most votes to represent the lovely and beautiful season of spring. Other celebrities such as Super Junior, Hyun Bin and Bae Yong-joon were chosen to best represent summer, autumn and winter respectively.
Interestingly enough, the results vary across language groups. Visit Korea members from eight language groups, including English, Chinese, Japanese and German, made their choice and agreed that Girls’ Generation is most suitable to represent Korea’s spring.
On the other hand, most English speakers selected Super Junior to best represent summer and winter, while most Chinese speakers chose Hyun Bin for autumn and winter. Bae Yong-joon was selected by most English, Chinese, Japanese and Russian speakers to represent winter.

SNSD’s maknae (the youngest) was spotted at Dongguk University where she is currently enrolled in Acting major. Despite being very busy since SNSD is now promoting their new album ‘The Boys’, Seohyun still managed her time to go to school Seohyun is known as a quiet and mature and hard-working girl, she spends most of her free time reading books and studying so it’s not a surprise seeing her going to school like this ^^ Let’s learn from her and work hard!
SNSD’s Yuri and Sooyoung were also spotted at Chung Ang university a few days ago.They were filming for a documentary about their casual lives.
