Japan’s ‘Sanspo’ and ‘CD Journal’ reported, “Movie actor and comedian Imada Kouji will be featured in the music video of Girls’ Generation’s new Japanese song ‘Time Machine’.
‘Time Machine’, a ballad included in ‘Repackage: Girls’ Generation~The Boys’ album, has been selected as the CM song for the new CF of ‘e-ma throat candy’ which will be aired throughout Japan starting February 25th. Upon the decision of the music video production, Imada Kouji who proclaimed himself as a fan of Girls’ Generation was offered to make an appearance in the music video and he was ever ready to accept the offer.
Local media stated, “Imada Kouji was self-motivated throughout the shoot and he acted the role of a person who cried while recalling his unforgettable past really well.”
Imada Kouji said, “These recent years have been the happiest ones in my career. Before the manager even finished talking, I said ‘I’ll act in it’. The moment when I saw ’10th member of Girls’ Generation’ written on the proposal sheet, I felt that I have achieved my goal. I’m very happy to be given this opportunity among Girls’ Generation’s fans in the entertainment industry. The shooting of the MV was really fun.”
The 15-second teaser video will be revealed on February 25th and the music video is set for release in the beginning of March.
