"I felt so bad for a short while, it broke my heart and i couldn't bear to see her". Seohyun ended it with, "Now she is in college studying theatre, she wants to be an actress. We both promised that we would support and cheer for each other."
The girls also revealed that out of the 9 members, Sunny and Tiffany had the highest tolerance level for alcohol. They were asked who drinks the best among them and everyone one point out Tiffany. Tiffany responded with, "It's not just me, Sunny also drinks well too." While Seohyun admitted that she had recently started drinking to better her health and also so that she would be more comfortable in social situations. When asked about their dating status, the girls answered with "It isn't the right time to be dating". Tiffany stated "How could we even if we wanted to?" while Taeyeon also expressed, "We know that it would be hard on ourselves, so we don't." Seohyun also added "It really isn't the right time". MC Cho Young Nam shared some words by saying, "It would be best if all of you would date and find love now because it will only get harder as you get older".
Taeyeon and Tiffany also shared another surprising story by revealing that they almost cancelled their concert duet after having a fight. Taeyeon revealed, "During our Japanese tour there was a time when Tiffany and I fought to the point where we were yelling at each other. My feelings were so hurt that I eventually tried to cancel out duet stage for our concert the next day." It turns out to be that they had a simple misunderstanding about Taeyeon's indigestion.

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun reconfirmed her affection for Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
On October 17th, Seohyun starred in KBS 2TV “Hello” with fellow member Sunny.
During the show, Seohyun introduced a story sent in by a viewer about a high school senior’s mom being a fan of Baek Chungkang. While reading, she was asked, “Is there a celebrity you were a fan of?” To this, Sunny revealed, “When I opened the door to Seohyun’s room and stepped inside, I was surprised by a large photo of a man at her headboard. The person in the photo was Johnny Depp.”
To this, MC Shin Dongyup asked, “I’ve heard that you like Ban Ki-moon, too. So who do you like more between those two?” to which Seohyun replied, “Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.”
Seohyun explained, “I got to liking him from looking at how he is on the inside. I’ve read his books on life, and searched articles on him and came to looking up to him.”
Meanwhile, Sunny chose actor Park Sihoo (or Shihoo) from KBS 2TV “The Princess’ Man” as the celebrity she likes and sent a surprise video message to him.

About a week ago, it was announced that six members of Girls’ Generation will appear on SBS’ variety show “Running Man”. Fans have been anticipating the appearance of Taeyeon, Jessica, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona, and Seohyun since the news was spread.
At the end of today’s episode of “Running Man”, a short preview of next week’s episode was shown. The short footage showed the six members being paired up with the “Running Man” members, running around to complete their missions. Other clips shown include the girls doing body gags, Jessica yelling “Stress!”, as well as Taeyeon doing some random moves while shopping at the grocery store.
Who else can’t wait for the show on October 2, 2011?

On September 20th, The Face Shop announced that maknae, Seohyun has been appointed as the new brand model for the Korean-based retailer of body, skin care and make-up products.
Seohyun will be promoting alongside existing models Kim HyunJoong, WonBin and Park MinYoung for a period of 1 year and she will be appearing on The Face Shop’s TVCF for its new product, ‘Arsainte Eco-Therapy Tonic Weed Essential’ starting next month.
A representative of The Face Shop said, “By appointing Seohyun, who is popular not only in overseas but within Korea among teens to those in the 40s, as the brand model, we would be able to increase The Face Shop’s brand awareness among customers of various age groups”.

Hello. This is Girls’ Generation’s maknae, Seohyun. With Chuseok coming up, we [Girls' Generation] will be holding a concert from the 9th to the 11th in Taiwan to spread K-Pop overseas. Last week, we spread K-Pop through a large concert in front of 150,000 people at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
We are also planning on holding a heart fluttering, dream-like concert in October at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Because it’s a concert that we will be having with fans from all over the world, I’m always nervous. My body is tired, but I am happy because I enjoy stages that make my heart flutter.
Within our tight concert schedule, there is a book that I always look for. It is “Writing Hope With Eyes” by basketball player Park Seungil.
The book is about Park Seungil being diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease and becoming bedridden after being named “Korea’s youngest basketball coach.” It shows how he looked to hope despite the difficult atmosphere he was in. It is a heartwrenching and touching book that shows Park Seungil’s pride and efforts of living by doing his best. I recommend this book as I feel that it will give some insight to those who live busy lives without any time to relax, as well as touch their hearts. I am sure that his records of fighting this disease in particular will comfort those waiting for hope.
Along with the rest of Girls’ Generation’s members, I read books between recording and concerts. All of us read, and we always carry one or two books in our bags. Because I like reading, I receive many books as gifts from fans, so whether I’m in the plane or in a car, I read often. I even had an overwhelming moment when I met the person I respect the most, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Kimoon. Through books I was able to meet people who give hope and strength, and I think I was able to gain that strength and hope from them.

The Korea National Red Cross and Korean Committee for UNICEF held an inauguration ceremony for the "Help Children in Africa" project at the Seoul Plaza Hotel on August 12, 2011. UN secretary general Ban Kimoon together with stars such as Girls' Generation, Shin Hyunjoon, Kim Yoonjin, SHINee, f(x), and vocalist Jo Sumi have gathered for this ceremony to help the children of Africa.
Girls' Generation's Seohyun, who was present for the event, prepared a present for Ban Kimoon. However, this was not Seohyun's real intention. Girls' Generation's maknae came with a book written by Ban Kimoon himself titled "Study Like a Fool and Dream Like a Genius", which highlighted the processes Ban Kimoon went through in order to become the "president of the world". She brought the book with her so she could ask him for his signature. When Seohyun received his signature on the book, her expression showed that she was deeply moved.
