The appearance of teaser video for ‘The Boys’ in major cities around the world marks the start of SNSD’s global promotions.
Since October 17th, the teaser videos have been displayed on huge billboards to announce the girls’ comeback in highly populated areas such as New York’s Times Square, Tokyo’s Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku and other 5 areas, Wangfujing Street in Beijing as well as in Kangnam, Seoul. Particularly, ahead of the release of the maxi single in US in November, the billboard displaying ‘The Boys’ the teaser videos will be up for a month at New York’s Manhattan Times Square. SM Representatives spoke through TV Reports on 26th of October and revealed, “Sooyoung is fortunately able to join the girls for their comeback. She herself was strongly determined to be there.
