Actor Kim MinJong talked about himself dancing in front of SooYoung.
At the press conference for ‘A Gentlemen’s Dignity’ held on June 22nd at SBS Production Center, Kim MinJong revealed, “It was hard trying to impress SooYoung in that scene. I did not know how I was supposed to dance on metal board.”
He added, “The director is known for filming the same scene a lot of times. I had to dance for more than 10 times, which was very embarrassing but I filmed the part with the determination that I will overcome this hardship.”
Recently, SooYoung made a surprise appearance on the episode of ‘A Gentlemen’s Dignity’ that was aired on June 9th. Kim MinJong danced to Girls Generation’s song in the episode and made a lot of people laugh.
The actor portrays the role of a lawyer in ‘A Gentlemen’s Dignity’ and not only is he showing good partnership with Jang DongGun, Kim SooRo and Lee JongHyuk, but he is also attracting attention through the love line with YoonJin.
He stated, “It is my first piece of work that I have found my name. Because I did not have much activities, people got confused with my name and they used to call me ‘Kim JongMin’. I had times like that, but I have regained my name through this drama.”
He continued, “The filming set’s atmosphere was so good that I did not notice the time passing by. I personally want to live with it. It would be good if this drama became a series.”

Jessica revealed her love for her group through the statement, “Even though I am having a lot of individual schedules, I did not forget about Girls’ Generation.”
In the interview for the July issue of fashion and lifestyle magazine ‘@Star1′, Jessica said that she was “very proud of Girls’ Generation’s solo activities” and that she was wishing them the best from the bottom of her heart. Jessica, who had tried her hand in acting through ‘Wild Romance’ not long ago continued, “Even though we have a lot of individual schedules, we didn’t forget about Girls’ Generation. We still have a lot to do as a nine-member group.”
She also revealed how she will treat summer as a ‘Ice Princess’ as she said, “I like ice cream and red-bean sherbet so much that I even eat them in winter. I guess I will be enjoying them this summer as well. I am actually scared of summer so I am afraid of how I will get over this summer. I think I will have to spend it in a cool place while eating those food.”

In the fashion and lifestyle magazine ‘@Star1′ published on June 20th, an interview with Sooyoung was featured where she provided some insights about her transformation in cable channel tvN’s drama ‘The Third Hospital’, which is in its filming stage currently.
In the interview, Sooyoung also discussed and revealed her honest feelings about matters regarding the competition between Yuri, Jessica, YoonA and herself who were involved in dramas recently.
Sooyoung said, “Recently, Yuri and Jessica made their acting debut through dramas. I cheered for them a lot. As this was their first time acting, they did really well and honestly, I was really amazed. As for YoonA, since she has been acting in the past so she has her very own area of specialties. Among the members, there is no pressure or burden due to acting comparison with one another. I think I have my own unique personality as well.”
She added, “Even before I became a singer, I went to a lot of auditions as I have a big dream to be an actress. Not only as a singer, I want to keep challenging myself as an actress too.”

On the June 22nd’s episode of MBC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars 2′, Hyoyeon’s audition videos, as well as testimonies by her seniors will be revealed.
During the interview with the program’s production staff recently, Shinhwa’s Lee Minwoo was asked if there is a girl group that he pays most attention to and he said, “I’m a fan of Girls’ Generation and Hyoyeon particularly, as she is really good at dancing since she was young, I thought of her as the second BoA. Therefore, I’ve been paying attention to her with great interest.” He added, “It’s good to see that Hyoyeon is now living her dream.”
Besides Lee Minwoo, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk who went through his trainee days along with Hyoyeon said, “As Hyoyeon is really good at dancing since she was still a trainee, she stood out among the 100 trainees. I too, looked for Hyoyeon and learned dancing from her,” acknowledging Hyoyeon’s dancing ability.

Yiruma, a world-famous South Korean pianist and composer, was recently asked about giving an idol group a song. In the interview, he revealed that he would like to compose a song for Girls’ Generation as well as his affection for Tiffany, saying, “I want to exchange music with singers that do music completely different from mine. Seohyun, the goodwill ambassador for the UN Pavilion, visited the venue of the 2012 Yeosu Expo on June 20th. After having a tour around the UN Pavilion, Seohyun had a small fan signing event with 10 lucky visitors who were selected based on random draws.
Seohyun said, “Today is United Nation’s World Refugee Day. The UN Pavilion is a place where one could actually experience the situation and crisis that the world is facing.” She urged the public, “Not only the children, everyone regardless of sex and age, please come and visit the UN Pavilion.”

On June 19th, Sunny made an appearance on KBS 2TV’s ’1 vs 100′ to challenge for the prize money amounting to 50 million Won.
On the show, Sunny said, “It will be Girls’ Generation’s 5th anniversary soon.” MC Han SukJoon then asked, “How many more years do you think Girls’ Generation could carry out activities together?” In reply to the question, Sunny smiled and said, “As long as there is rookie mentality in us, I think we could still be together as Girls’ Generation, even after more than 10 years.”
Sunny added, “The most rewarding moments were the times when we heard that our fans gain strength from watching us. In order to hear such words for a very, very long time, we will be presenting our strength-giving performances to our fans for a very long time as well.”

‘Girls’ Generation 1st Japan Tour’ DVD and Blu-ray Disc (BD) are hot-selling items in Japan in the first half of 2012.
According to Oricon’s 2012 first half ranking, the ‘Girls’ Generation 1st Japan Tour’ BD was ranked 2nd in the ‘Music BD Sales’ category with 56,000 copies sold. In the ‘Music DVD Sales’ category as well, Girls’ Generation had once again proven their huge popularity by selling 148,718 copies in the first half of the year, where it was ranked 4th.
Girls’ Generation kicked off their ’1st Japan Arena Tour’ on May 31st, 2011 with 14 performances in 6 cities in front of 140,000 fans. Released simultaneously on December 14th, 2011, the BD and DVD had also dominated the Oricon weekly charts for both the BD and DVD categories at the same time, making Girls’ Generation the first foreign artist to have achieved such an impressive feat.
